You Have Been Set Free, So Live Free

There is a big difference between being set free and living free…

Exodus 14:10-14…
As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 11They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”
13Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

We can be set free, and yet let ourselves be brought back to a place of burden again.

Being set free, means freedom from our minds’ limitations.

Christians are not in bondage to how we feel.

God has set you free. He does not want you to be in captivity. You do not want to be in captivity. Then why are we allowing ourselves to still be in captivity.

In this life, what we choose to put our faith in dictates what we receive. If we put our faith in God and His word, then His best for us is already ours.

God set us free, let us live free. We need to receive it by faith.

We know God has set us free, but are we living it out? God set us free to live out that freedom.
