Mind Games to Avoid

There are Mind Games and schemes that the enemy sets as roadblocks for us…

Exodus 5:1-9… Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”
2Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.”
3Then they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Now let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, or he may strike us with plagues or with the sword.”
4But the king of Egypt said, “Moses and Aaron, why are you taking the people away from their labor? Get back to your work!” 5Then Pharaoh said, “Look, the people of the land are now numerous, and you are stopping them from working.”
6That same day Pharaoh gave this order to the slave drivers and overseers in charge of the people: 7“You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks; let them go and gather their own straw. 8But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don’t reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is why they are crying out, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’
9Make the work harder for the people so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies.”

The enemy plays mind games to keep us from believing in God’s Word.

As much as we want to try to make changes stick in our lives, there is someone that does not want those changes to be effective in your life. The enemy does not want you to live that life fulfilled that God has for you. He will do whatever he can to get you to give up whatever you possess. Satan is the great disrupter.

We cannot allow the mind games of the enemy to forego the covenant or contract that God has made with us. God warns us time and time again to not fall into the traps.

Be confident in God. The enemy will try to destroy this. Without confidence you will question everything, including your salvation. Remember that we have victory over the enemy.

We come to church to celebrate God. Every day we come to church we need to enter with victory because it is not about us but about Him.

When you meet with God, your confidence in Him rises. You meet with God in prayer, in coming to church, in praising Him.

We cannot allow the mind games of the enemy to keep us from witnessing. Just be bold. We also need to be kind, gentle, loving, merciful, full of grace. Do not let the enemy shake your confidence.

Doubt destroys conviction which faith is built upon, which in turn destroys confidence. Conviction is a firmly held belief. Once we have conviction we can then have confidence.

If you are living God’s will, you are living a fulfilled life. You will never lose joy.

The enemy cannot void the covenant that was established in the blood of Jesus. Since the enemy cannot do so, he tries to get you to think that it means nothing. He tries to get you to believe that God is not even here. This is not true.

You need to understand that God loves you. You are unstoppable with God. If you see that you have a purpose in God, you will be able to see it all the way to the end.
