Learning to be Content

We can enjoy our lives so very much if we purpose to be Learning to Be Content with the life that God has given us…

Philippians 4:10-13…
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.

In learning to be content if we do not control or discipline ourselves, we will never be satisfied.

Being content helps the Christian live a consistent life. If you learn the secret of contentment you will not have as many fluctuating highs and lows in your Christian walk. Nothing can rob you of peace.

We need to be like the apostle Paul. Learning the secret to being content in that poverty or the situations affecting him do not take away his joy.

Contentment is not something that you are born with. The path in this life will not always be easy.

We need to be careful to not allow our needs alone or wants to set our priorities. Let us seek Him and to put God first.

Do not be more concerned of other people. Play the hand that you have been dealt and see how God will bless it.
