Burdens can be placed on us by God to cause us to look to Him, and lead us toward Fulfilling God’s Will in our lives…
Nehemiah 1:2-4…
Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that had survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem. 3They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.” 4When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
The Word of God can speak to us to see how we can be fulfilling God’s will in our lives.
Sometimes we view our own lives where we see those things destroyed that were so precious to us. We do not know how we can rebuild. But when we turn it over to God, we can see restoration.
Fulfilling God’s will can be seen in several ways. This will lead us to a disciplined life.
We can lose ourselves in finding God’s will in our lives, at the cost of leaving everything else behind. It is also important to have discipline. If we are focused on living for God, we will then be living His will in our lives.
When life gets chaotic it can somehow disrupt our discipline. All of a sudden we can fall into the trap of disregarding our disciplines in order to tend to the distractions.
God wants you in His will. Allow Him to guide you!
