From Bondage- Open gate at the end of walls made of stone lined with prison cells

From Out of Bondage

We need to remember that we can look to others for help to come Out From Bondage…

Acts 12:1-5
It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. 2He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. 3When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews,he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. 4After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. 5So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

Throughout our life we can find ourselves needing to be rescued from bondage into which we have fallen.

It is the enemy’s game plan that if he can’t silence you, he will send trials and tribulations or imprisonment, as he did for Peter in this passage.  However, it is God’s desire that we are freed from bondage.

For every trial, persecution, every situation that comes our way, we do not give up. Everything changes when we pray. If we want to see a different direction, we need to start praying. This will free us from bondage.

God will shed a light always. The old adage “there is a light at the end of the tunnel” is quite fitting in describing God in our lives. To be released from bondage, we can break any chain. There is no chain that has ever been made by the enemy or by man that God cannot break.

The biggest thing that we can do is to believe. Believe that God can always make a difference, because He can!
