Finding Your True Purpose- Ray of light shining from left onto open bible

Finding Your True Purpose- Part 3

Finding Your True Purpose is part of the Holy Spirit’s Role in your life…

Judges 6:33-34… Now all the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples joined forces and crossed over the Jordan and camped in the Valley of Jezreel. 34Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Gideon, and he blew a trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him.
Judges 7:12… The Midianites, the Amalekites and all the other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, thick as locusts. Their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore.

How can you be successful in finding your true purpose if you do not have a good understanding of who God is?

We need to have a right view our ourselves. God comes in and changes our viewpoint of who we think we are in Him.

God inserts the Holy Spirit into our life, and that makes all the difference in the world. When things look all tumultuous and everything seems insurmountable, He comes in to help us through it all.

God uses the Holy Spirit to assist you in finding your true purpose and living a more fulfilled life. There are several aspects of the Holy Spirit in our lives…

  1. The Holy Spirit anoints us. It is His anointing that transforms a life from merely existing to living.
    • a.Being anointed is understanding that you are chosen for a task. When you give your life to God He will use it.
    • b.When God anoints He enables you to complete the mission. God is your resource and gives you the authority to take on the task.
  2. The Holy Spirit brings about confrontation. Anointing brings purpose, and purpose always leads to action. There are those things we may view as attacks of the enemy that can actually be purposed by God to confront and do as He has designed for us. Keep in mind that where God may allow confrontations, He cannot lose.
  3. The Holy Spirit empowers. In those times that you think that you cannot make a difference, it is the Holy Spirit that lifts you up.
  4. The Holy Spirit give us spiritual sight. This could be through a vision or dream, or it could be a check in our spirit.

When someone is coming against us we do not come back with weapons, we come back with prayer.

If you have found yourself in a situation where there does not seem to be any hope- God says you have hope. He says, yes, you can. Finding your true purpose leads you to understand that though you may lose battles, you will indeed win the victory. God is setting you up for victories through every battle; whether or not you see yourself winning them.

You cannot have a hopeless situation if God has chosen you.

When you are actively finding your true purpose, the Holy Spirit is playing His role in leading and guiding you.

God loves you and He has a purpose for you. With His new life comes new purpose, and hope for a better tomorrow!
