Messianic Seder

The prisoner, on the eve of his execution, is given the opportunity to select his final meal. Similarly, Jesus opted for the Passover Seder as His last meal before He was to be crucified. This decision was not made in vain, but rather carried profound significance. The portrayal of God’s redemptive efforts in delivering the Jews from the Egyptians served as a prophetic foreshadowing of Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice upon the cross.

The Messianic Seder is a sacred ceremonial dinner which prompts us to commemorate the Jewish Passover and examine the foreshadowing of Jesus within it. This very meal corresponds to the one Jesus shared with his disciples, commonly referred to as the Last Supper. The profound symbolism of Jesus in the Passover is truly remarkable, leaving you with a greater understanding and passion toward our Lord’s redemptive mission!
